This duo from Austin Texas will be staying in Central Ohio after their show at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza on June 18 to play in Studio A.

They also have a show coming up at Riverdog near Oberlin Ohio on June 20.

The last time they visited  WCBE  was back in 2014.

"The Other Side" is their latest release.

Erika Wennerstrom will perform Live From Studio A in advance of the show that night at Ace Of Cups with Columbus outfit The Cordial Sins!  

Over The Rhine is a collaboration between Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist.

They will be returning to Studio A to play a few songs and talk about their latest release, "Love & Revelation", which came out in March.

Currently on tour in support of that release, they will be stopping by WCBE between their shows in Lexington Kentucky and Kent Ohio.

It's been several years since they last played here at the station.

WCBE is looking forward to the return of Nikki Hill to perform Live From Studio A session in advance of the show that night at Natalie's presented by WCBE and Crazy Mams's Concerts!  

His new release, "Rising Star", is coming out on June 28, and you can pre-order it through his website, https://griffinhousemusic.com/.

He is in Ohio to play shows at 31 West in Newark the evening of June 12, and the Springfield Arts Festival on June 13.

Since moving to Nashville to start his career in music back in 2003, he has come out with at least 10 releases.

WCBE is looking forward to a return visit from one-man-band Matt Lorenz who performs under the name The Suitcase Junket.  

The Brother Brothers, currently based in Brooklyn, are identical twins David and Adam Moss.

"Some People I Know", their full length debut, came out in October of last year.

They're going to be performing at the Nelsonville Music Festival this weekend.

Bon Iver is back with its first new recorded music in three years. The band this morning dropped two new songs with lyric videos. The first, "Hey, Ma," is a glittering remembrance of childhood and a mother's love. "Tall time to call your ma," sings Justin Vernon over faded home videos of his family. "I was tokin' on dope / I hoped it all won't go in a minute / With the past that you know."

WCBE is looking forward to hosting Adia Victoria Live From Studio A in advance of her show that night at A&R Music Bar with Carriers!  

If you're even a casually observant jazz fan, you might think you know a thing or two about Joe Lovano. A tenor saxophonist with dozens of albums to his name, most of them made during a roughly 25-year tenure on Blue Note Records, Lovano is one of the most instantly identifiable musicians on the jazz landscape and on the New York scene. But he didn't come from nowhere.

This year, I was blown away by the Tiny Desk Contest entries I saw. We received over 6,000 entries from all across the country. We saw tiny desks up on rooftops and down on a subway platform; tucked into treetops, pickup trucks and laundromats. We heard songs about the situations that make life difficult and the people that make life worth living.

This group is going to stop by studio A before their show at the Rumba Cafe the evening of May 16th, with Shiny Penny out of Indiana.

Now performing as a trio, this California based act also has shows in Minnesota and Illinois this week.

Run River North is Alex Hwang (guitar/vocals), Daniel Chae (guitar/vocals) and Sally Kang (keys/vocals).

She will be playing at Rambling House Soda the evening of May 15th.

Also coming up for her this week are shows in Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota.

Having been a winner of the Kerrville Folk Festival songwriting competition in 2009, and a fan favorite on the Voice back in season one, she is now touring in support of her new release, "Give Up Your Ghosts", which came out in February.

Katie Toupin, formerly of the band Houndmouth, will perform Live From Studio A in advance of the show that night at The Basement.
