Music Journeys

The Paragon Project celebrates its third full-length music release this weekend. Based at the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center, high school students write and record their own songs to communicate about issues in their lives and foster dialogue for listeners.

This spring, musician Chris Stills released his first new material in more than a decade. With his parents finding fame in the music industry in different parts of the world, Stills developed multicultural influences and carved out his own sound. 

After 3 releases fronting the band Mount Moriah, H.C. McEntire unveiled her first solo effort earlier this year. Her tour kicks off Friday night in Columbus. McEntire also visits WCBE Friday morning for a Live From Studio A session. 

The 16th Annual Creative Strings Workshop and Festival continues today featuring string players from all over the world in Columbus for educational clinics and performances. 

Musician Meg Myers has been described as an intense performer with a powerful voice. The 31-year-old brings her talents to Columbus tonight as part of the opening acts for Walk The Moon at Express Live. 

Tom Rush has new music out and performed a special concert as part of the Central Ohio Folk Festival. 

Actor Josh Radnor has a new TV project, but the central Ohio native also has a music collaboration with long-time recording artist Ben Lee. The duo performed last night in Columbus, but also stopped by WCBE.
