Public Radio Music Month 2013

This April marks the second annual Public Radio Music Month (PRMM), a national public awareness campaign that  highlights the local impact of public radio music stations, like WCBE FM, in our community!

                                                      Your Music. Your WCBE.

Join us as we celebrate all that public radio has to offer-from jazz to blues, americana to reggae, alternative rock and so much more.

Stay tuned for the best local music performances in Columbus, Live from Studio A, all April!

Also, Alligator Records is  celebrating Public Radio Music Month by treating listeners to a free 17-song sampler.  Artists on the album include Anders Osbourne, Koko Taylor, The Holmes Brothers and more! Get yours now!

Did you know that WCBE has a Youtube Channel, and that you can check out previous Live from Studio A performances? Here's one from Charlie Mars! But there's much more where that came from!

PRMM is launching an open, collaborative Spotify playlist that celebrates public radio and discovery. The playlist is called “I heard it first on public radio,” and we are inviting all public radio listeners to add a track from any genre to the playlist that they discovered first on their local station.

This is something that all stations, supporters, and listeners can participate in! Need help getting started?
