Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force

For the third year, law enforcement around Ohio conducted a human trafficking sting. And this time it turned out to be the largest one in state history. Statehouse correspondent Karen Kasler has details on the results of Operation Ohio Knows.

A Franklin County man has been indicted on 19 felony counts, including involuntary manslaughter and human trafficking.

A Franklin County grand jury has indicted three Columbus men on charges of luring victims into human trafficking and prostitution. 

Fifty men were arrested during the Major League Baseball All-Star festivities this week for soliciting prostitution.

The Ohio Attorney General's office says two men have been convicted and sentenced for their roles in operating a human trafficking ring in central Ohio. 

Whitehall Police

Whitehall police say 12 women found Thursday inside a Columbus home have been identified as possible victims of human trafficking. 

A report by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force says police departments made 98 arrests last year, identifying 181 potential victims.

Local law enforcement say they have rescued nearly 20 women from sexual slavery.
