The Warp Drive has returned!

The concept is simple:  the more money we raise during the Warp Drive, the shorter we can make the regular Spring on-air fundraiser.  Some public radio stations who tried this experiment were able to cancel all but one day of their on-air fundraiser.  In WCBE’s case, we can cancel a day of on air fundraising for every $28,000 raised in advanced.

Soak up your Sunday with the sounds of local!

Join us for a taste of Blues, Bluegrass & Celtic tunes on February 21st at Byrnes Pub for a concert to benefit WCBE 90.5 FM!

This holiday season, WCBE partners with DNO Produce to help feed families throughout the central Ohio community. For every donation made to WCBE up through December 31st, DNO will donate 2 lbs of fresh produce to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

Your support helps this radio station, and also helps those less fortunate. Donations can be made on our website here or by mail; WCBE's mailing address is:

The Membership Director helps listeners understand the importance of becoming donors to keep WCBE on the air.  Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Membership Director shapes, produces, and is responsible for listener-based fundraising – particularly our big Spring and Fall on-air fund drives, including the accompanying direct mail and e-mail campaigns, theme development, premium design and production, staff pitch guidance, and volunteer coordination.  The Membership Director also develops other fundraising efforts; the more creative, the better!
