An increase in drug overdoses in recent days prompted the Columbus and Franklin County Public Health Departments to issue an “overdose advisory” Wednesday.

State officials will launch a campaign on Monday to educate the public about fentanyl and heroin overdose deaths. 

The CVS drug store chain will carry the heroin overdose antidote naloxone at its Ohio stores.
