The Ohio Redistricting Commission heard from thousands of Ohioans. Some have written or called lawmakers. And a few hundred have shown up at more than a dozen public hearings to make their voices heard. Some showed up at more than one hearing. Statehouse correspondent Jo Ingles reports on what Ohioans are saying.

A coalition of community groups are touting a map with newly drawn district lines for state lawmakers. The group says its so-called "unity" map reflects the political makeup of Ohio. Statehouse correspondent Andy Chow reports.

The panel of lawmakers that will draw new district lines for Ohio’s representatives and senators in the Statehouse held its first two meetings Monday in Cleveland and Youngstown, with eight more scheduled throughout the state this week. Statehouse correspondent Karen Kasler reports while there are no maps for people to offer input on, there was plenty of testimony on what they want them to look like.

The League of Women Voters of Ohio is opposing a lawsuit filed by the State of Ohio against the decision to hold back 2020 U.S. Census data till September 30 because of the pandemic and concerns about accuracy.
