Japan Donates Cherry Trees To City Of Dayton

Japan's consul general has donated 1,000 trees to the city of Dayton as part of his government's "One-Thousand Cherry Tree Project."

The trees are a symbol of gratitude from Japan for the Miami Valley region's support after last year's tsunami. City officials say planting work is underway.
