Ohio Republican Congressman Steve LaTourette today formally announced his retirement, saying he's frustrated with the climate in Congress.
The nine-term lawmaker says the atmosphere in the U.S. House no longer encourages the finding of common ground. LaTourette was elected during the GOP wave of 1994. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee.
