Eliminating Landline Telephone Service In Portions Of Ohio

Advocates for the poor and elderly say a plan to eliminate landline telephone service in parts of the state next year is not being properly studied.A bill in the Ohio Legislature would lift a requirement that phone companies provide basic service to all residents in areas utility regulators deem competitive. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
