Columbus Boosts State Casino Revenue

The Ohio Casino Control Commission says the opening of Ohio's third casino in Columbus sharply boosted wagering in October, despite a drop at the other two facilities.Wagers at the Cleveland, Columbus and  Toledo casinos totaled nearly 479 million dollars last month.  In its first 3 1/2 weeks, the Columbus casino reported 165 million dollars in wagers. Last month betting dropped 9.2 percent in Toledo and 2.2 percent in Cleveland.
