CSCC Tuition Hike Under Consideration

Columbus State Community College officials want to raise tuition for in-state students by 5.4 percent next year, to nearly 39-hundred-dollars a year. That would be the highest increase allowed by state law. The hike would cover up to 16-point-9 million dollars in losses from a larger than expected decline in enrollment, and would pay for services designed to improve student academic performance. No word on when a formal decision will be made.
