Reynoldsburg Schools Finalist For Federal Grant

The Reynoldsburg schools are one of 61 finalists for a Federal Race to the Top grant worth at least five-million-dollars. Reynoldsburg's entry calls for personalized instruction through real-world experiences for students and blending lessons across subjects. Two other finalists are in Ohio - the Cleveland schools and the Ohio Appalachian Collaborative Personalized Learning Network in Southeast Ohio, a consortium of 15 rural districts. The U.S Department of Education will chose 15 to 25 winners on December 31st.
