CSCC Cuts Budget

Columbus State Community College trustees voted yesterday to shave 17-million-dollars from the school budget. The cuts including a hiring freeze, delayed equipment purchases and limited travel for faculty. Columbus State officials blamed the cuts on a larger-than-expected enrollment drop after the school switched to semesters last August.
