The Cleveland police union wants police chief Michael McGrath to resign in the wake of a critical state report blaming a lack of leadership for a fatal chase. Following the chase, 1 latino and 13 white officers fired 137 rounds, killing two African-American suspects. The report from Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine says the November chase resulted from leadership and communications failures. No weapon was found in the vehicle. Mayor Frank Jackson has given McGrath a renewed vote of confidence. Union president Jeff Follmer says police morale is at an all-time low amid the state and Cleveland police investigations of the chase.
