Woman Charged In Mount Vernon Fire

A woman is expected to appear in court today to face arson charges connected with a fire last week at a Mount Vernon apartment where a man was found dead.31-year-old Amber Pilotti is accused of starting the blaze at the apartment on Shirley Avenue. 52-year-old Brad Grosscup was found dead inside. The Knox County Coroner says he died before the flames broke out.
