Churches Holding Prayer Masses For The Pope

Pope Benedict the 16th today officially becomes the first pontiff in nearly 600 years to resign.Several Catholic churches in Ohio are holding prayer masses for the pontiff. Pope Benedict will remain at the papal retreat south of Rome while cardinals from around the world meet to choose his successor. Cleveland Diocese Auxiliary Bishop Roger Gries says many of his parishioners support the resignation, but American Catholics won't feel much effect.
