Ohio foreclosure filings rose in February as lenders continued working through a backlog of cases.
Daren Blomquist of the foreclosure listing firm Realtytrac says there were more than 10 thousand foreclosure filings in Ohio last month, up by 26 percent from January and by 12 percent from February of 2012. Ohio had the fourth-highest foreclosure rate in the nation last month, with one out of 485 properties getting some sort of notice.
