The Strongsville School Board has rejected Mayor Tom Perciak's request to meet today with teachers and a federal mediator to settle the ongoing teacher's strike.A board spokesperson says members are waiting for the mediator to summon both sides to talk. But Perciak continues to push for a quick resolution.

The strike over salary, benefits and working conditions is in it's third week, and this instructor is supporting the Mayor's effort.
