State Approves Business Tax Breaks

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority has approved tax breaks for Verizon Wireless and several other companies. The Authority claims the breaks will create or retain a total of 44-hundred jobs. Verizon plans to add 500 full-time jobs as a result of the company's consolidation project in Hilliard. E-commerce firm SpeedFC got a tax break for a project it claims will create or retain 492 jobs at its distribution facility in Etna Township.
