Slaying Of Nurse Not Accidental

Cleveland Police Chief Michael McGrath says last Sunday's slaying of a nurse was not a random act. The body of 53-year-old Aliza Sherman was found near a downtown shopping mall. McGrath says Sherman was visiting her attorney to talk about divorce proceedings. McGrath is not saying whether her estranged husband is a suspect.

McGrath does say the estranged husband and other relatives are considered persons of interest. Court records show there was to be a divorce proceeding last Tuesday and another next month.
