Athens County Man Holds Deputies At Bay

An Athens County man is in custody following a standoff and shootout at his home yesterday.Franklin Green is accused of opening fire on sheriff's deputies who arrived at his home to serve court papers. Shots from Green's rifle damaged two cruisers, but no injuries are reported.
