Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber says for the second consecutive year, Columbus will host the MLS business summit in September.

Garber says the conference will include more than 250 league executives and staffers from each of the league's 19 teams. As for the future of MLS, Garber says the league is focusing on the quality of play, making each club relevant, and doing everything in an economically sound way. The financial health of the Columbus Crew remains strong, according to General Manager Mark McCullers.
