Sentencing In Slaying Of Dublin Gas Station Clerk

Two men were sentenced to prison terms yesterday for killing a Dublin gas station clerk in February of last year, as well as robbing a restaurant and a gun range in Powell. 23-year-old Jeffery Collins will serve 43-years-to-life, and 23-year-old Eddie Murphy will serve 30-years-to-life sentence. Each pleaded guilty to multiple charges. Franklin County Judge Julie Lynch had harsh words for the two.

19-year-old Austin Cusey is already serving a life sentence for his role in the robberies and the killing 46-year-old clerk Mohamed Hassan at the station on West Bridge Street.
