Court Clears Way For Cincinnati Parking Lease Plan

Cincinnati city officials say they will sign the controversial parking operations lease as early as Wednesday. A state appeals court has denied opponents' request to block the signing, paving the way for the city to collect 92-million-dollars upfront from the Port of Cincinnati. Some residents and business owners say the plan will result in higher parking fees and will hurt local businesses.
