Turnpike Tolls To Increase

The Ohio Turnpike Commission has approved a plan to raise tolls by 2.7 percent next year, or a minimum of 25 cents. It is the first of 10 annual increases to pay for delayed highway and bridge projects. The Commission also authorized 1 billion dollars in bonds that will be partially funded by higher tolls. Ohio Governor John Kasich pushed for the plan.
