UA Schools Put Levy On November Ballot

The Upper Arlington school board voted this week to put a 4 mill levy on the November ballot. Voters rejected a 5.9 mill levy last year. Superintendent Paul Imhoff says the millage amount was reduced after the district cut some teaching jobs, increased elementary school class sizes and increased fees for athletics. The levy would cost the owner of a 100 thousand dollar home 140 dollars more per year.
