Tax Levy To Be On Fairfield County Ballot

Fairfield County Commissioners have voted to place a property tax levy on the November ballot to fund infrastructure improvements. The measures ask voters to renew and make permanent the 0.5 mill levy that generates 1.4 million dollars a year. It costs the owner of a 100 thousand dollar home 13 dollars per year. County voters will also see a library levy and a senior services levy on their ballots this fall.
