Baltimore Girl Wants Spot On Middle School Football Team

A Fairfield County girl is fighting for a spot on her middle school's football team. Makhaela Jenkins and her family say the Liberty Union-Thurston School District told her she would not be allowed to play because of a policy blocking girls from contact sports. Jenkins has been playing youth football for years and says she has earned the right to compete with and against boys.
