Ohioans Paying Higher Auto Insurance Rates

Ohio drivers are paying the largest auto insurance rate increase in a decade. The Ohio Department of Insurance says premiums rose by four-percent last year after several years of smaller increases. Industry analysts say insurers are making up for rates that were too low, in an effort to gain customers.
