Columbus Man Sentenced In Failed Murder For Hire Plot

A Columbus man will serve 11 years in prison for hiring another man to kill the ex-wife of his friend. Prosecutors say 27-year-old Brad Fickenworth paid a man 35 hundred dollars to kill the ex-wife of 60-year-old Daniel Lytle last December. The plot failed. It was hatched after the couple's marriage ended in a dissolution. Daniel Lytle was convicted earlier this year and awaits sentencing.
