An Associated Press review of campaign finance reports shows Republican Josh Mandel's campaign committee has yet to report receiving an insurance check for a vehicle disabled in a March wreck. The absence of a reported payment months after the accident adds to questions surrounding the crash. It involved a vehicle owned by Mandel's 2012 U.S. Senate campaign months after he'd lost the election. His state treasurer campaign waited until June 30th to make a rental payment. Campaign finance filings through June 30th contain no insurance reimbursement.A campaign representative couldn't immediately provide the status of any insurance claim.
