Cooper Tire Sold To Firm Based In India

Shareholders in Findlay-based Cooper Tire & Rubber have approved the 2.5 billion dollar acquisition of the company by India-based Apollo Tyres. Plans for the acquisition were announced in June. The deal is expected to close by the end of the year.
