Guilty Plea In 2012 Death Of Pataskala Woman

A former New Albany physician has pleaded guilty in the heroin overdose death of a Pataskala woman who answered his on line ad for a housekeeper.44-year-old Ali Salim reached a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of abuse of a corpse. 23-year-old Deanna Ballman was pregnant when she died in August of last year. Sentencing is scheduled for December 20th.
