Former County Treasurer Sentenced For Taking Cash Gift

A federal judge has sentenced former Mahoning County treasurer and former county Democratic Party chair Lisa Antonini to five months in federal prison for failing to report a 3 thousand dollar cash gift. She must also serve two years of probation and pay a 2 thousand dollar fine. The 44-year-old Antonini admitted failing to report the cash gift from a local businessman in 2008, while reporting a 200 dollar contribution he made to her primary campaign.
