Columbus police say an East side homeowner who shot a man who was trying to rob him during a home invasion pleaded guilty yesterday to voluntary manslaughter charges. 20-year-old Donald Griffin III says he was defending himself when he shot and killed the unarmed 29-year-old Quenton Savage at his Easthaven Drive home in October of last year. Sentencing is scheduled for January 9th.
