Cincinnati Streetcar Backers Want To Return Issue To Voters

Petitions are circulating around Cincinnati to put the streetcar project before voters for a third time. Cincinnati voters have twice given the green light to the project.  A group of streetcar supporters calling themselves "We Believe in Cincinnati" wants to collect 12-thousand signatures this week to force a special election next year. The project is on hold while City Council learns how much it'll cost to keep work moving or stop it all together.
