Siblings Sentenced For Robbing Jewelry Store

A former Pickerington Central High School basketball and football player will serve more than 14 years in prison for robbing a jewelry store in May of last year. Prosecutors say 26-year-old Darnell Harris robbed the store on Taylor Road in Reynoldsburg to get money to buy a workout suit. Harris' sister, 20-year-old Maria Harris, will serve nine years for her role in the heist that netted 56 thousand dollars in cash and merchandise. Both must also pay restitution.
