Trial Of Republican State Lawmaker Scheduled

A judge has set a trial date for a Republican state lawmaker charged with fraud and theft. Representative Peter Beck goes on trial April 7th on charges of misleading investors about a company's financial status and using the money for personal gain. Beck pleaded not guilty in July. he is to be tried with former business partner and co-defendant John Fussner, who has also pleaded not guilty.
