Columbus police have filed charges against a man who allegedly caused a crash that sent an officer to a hospital. Police say Jarrett Lumpkin was driving southbound on I-71 near East North Broadway yesterday when he went off the road and slammed into a car involved in a nine-vehicle crash. The impact pinned Officer Judith Lawrence under the vehicle. Lawrence sustained broken bones and other injuries.
