Ohio State University is poised to hire the school's first African-American president. OSU trustees will introduce 64-year-old Michael Drake today as the successor to Gordon Gee, who retired last year after controversial remarks he made about Catholics, Notre Dame and the Southeastern Conference became public. Drake has been chancellor of the University of California-Irvine since 2005. He'll start at OSU in June.
