Ohio's official unemployment rate fell by 3-tenths of a point in January to 6.9 percent.The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says the number of unemployed workers fell by 11 thousand from December. Non-farm payrolls rose by nearly 17 thousand. The largest job gains are reported in construction, manufacturing, professional and business services. The U.S. jobless rate is 6.6 percent.
