A Columbus man has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty in a 2012 shooting death. 24-year-old Robert Harris II reached a plea deal with prosecutors this week. Harris has admitted killing 30-year-old Kahlee Beard in front of a Maynard Avenue home in early 2012 following a neighborhood dispute. A second suspect was arrested but has not been indicted in the case.
