Local Man Who Owned Pill Mill Sentenced

columbus division of police

The owner of a southern Ohio pill mill has been sentenced to 14 years in prison. 41-year-old Tracy Bias sought a sentence of less than 10 years because he testified against a co-defendant. Prosecutors say he was not fully cooperative. Prosecutors say dozens of customers a week traveled hundreds of miles to visit Bias' clinics in southern and central Ohio. The pill mills contributed to the deaths of two people.
