Storms Knock Out Power For Thousands

Cleanup efforts will continue today after strong storms struck throughout the state last night. Winds near 50-miles-per-hour took down trees and power lines, knocking power out to more than 9-thousand central Ohioans. Columbus-based American Electric Power says 17 thousand customers statewide lost service.
