Replacement Members Named To Troubled Ohio Elections Board

The Lucas County Republican and Democratic parties have appointed three people to fill vacancies on the Board of Elections. The appointments of Republicans Kelly Bensman and Ben Roberts, and Democrat Brenda Hill, must be approved by Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted. Earlier this month, Husted removed two Republicans and one Democrat from the board for neglect of duty and wrongful exercise of authority.
