Ohio University police have found no evidence of a shooting on campus after receiving a report of a possible threat Tuesday afternoon. OU Police Chief Andrew Powers say a man reported he had shot his mother at Gamertsfelder Hall, which houses students for summer session.

Powers says authorities later expanded their search throughout the school's East Green, but found nothing. He says an investigation continues.
