A Dayton native and Olympic silver medalist who made headlines for years has died. Sam Hall died this week at the age of 77. Hall won a silver medal for diving in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome before becoming an Ohio lawmaker, developer and self-proclaimed freelance spy. Hall also served time in a Sandinista prison in the 1980s.
