Central State Now A Land Grant School

Central State University's century-long push to become a land grant institution has been successful.  The U.S. Department of Agriculture has bestowed land grant status, placing the cash-strapped historically-black school in line for federal funding.  University officials say it will also help develop new programs and recruit students.
