Man Convicted Of Killing Hilliard Taxi Owner Sentenced

The man charged with killing the owner of a Hilliard livery service was sentenced yesterday to 18 years to life in prison. 42-year-old Brian Jones pleaded guilty to murder and aggravated robbery charges for killing 49-year-old Paul DeVitt last February. Prosecutors say Jones also stole the victim's vehicle.
